Here we are again, another year of Sand Bandits. This comic started 2 years ago on April 2nd, 2014, and wow. It REALLY does not feel like it’s been 2 years. Looking back at the art and progress I’ve made since I began is breathtaking for me personally. In my first year the comic was around 70 pages long, plus the Prologue. In the second year I’ve managed to get to Page 182 (With 183 in progress), that’s around 120 pages! Nearly double what I made last year. That’s a lot of Sand Bandits. And yet, not enough. There is so much more to come. I’d say the readership over this year hasn’t changed all that much, but I remain optimistic as I wasn’t really expecting much to begin with.
Chapter 1 (Yes, the comic is still in Chapter 1 by the way, I didn’t forget Chapters were a thing) is more or less purposely meant to be advertisement-free. By that I mean, I’m not doing any Advertising anywhere at all until Chapter 1 is done. This is a strategic move by myself, but I like to still have the continuously updating Chapter 1 available for those curious folks who like to check out Recent Deviations. I could go more into the purpose of Chapter 1 not being advertised, but I’ll just say that there’s a lot to happen in Chapter 1 coming up, and I’d like new readers to be able to experience all of that in one or two sittings.
Anyways, here’s to another year of Sand Bandits!
